Fr Lee was appointed as the Parish Priest of St Philip's in July 2018 having served two curacies in Kentish Town and Pimlico. Originally from East London, he has spent nearly all his life in and around London.

Prior to ordination Fr Lee spent 12 years as a Civil Servant working in the Ministry of Justice, leading on several high profile change projects as well as working in many of London's most famous courthouses.

Fr Lee is passionate about practical theology especially in bringing the beauty of holiness alive in our little part of London. A gifted preacher, Fr Lee's down-to-earth and motivational style has helped St Philip's Church start its journey on revitalisation and growth.

In his spare time Fr Lee is a senior volunteer for the Scouts, responsible for Scouting in the seven North Eastern London Boroughs. He and his wife Eileen live in Tottenham with their two children Freya and Edward, whilst Fr Lee's older daughter Megan lives in Essex.
